Essence Grey-t To Be Here

Wow, it's Thursday already!  It feels like this month is just flying by.  Today I have another polish I bought from Ulta last week.  I've had my eye on this polish for months now, but only just got it.  My timing couldn't have been any better, because all of the Essence polishes were on sale for 99 cents!

Grey-t To Be Here, 2 coats: grey creme-jelly with warm pink shimmer.  Gah, I'm seriously in love with the pink shimmer.  I was afraid the shimmer might be subtle, but it's not. :D  Application was lovely as well - two smooth easy coats with quick dry time.

Isn't it so soft and pretty?  I don't know why it took me so long to get this.  I also think I need more grey polishes.  For some reason, I don't have many.  Any recommendations?

Also, does anyone know if Layla is being discontinued at Ulta?  I couldn't find their display, and the sales girl helped me find it in the clearance section.  She said it looks like they might not be carrying them anymore.

Availability: You can find Essence polishes at Ulta for 1.99 each.

Sally Hansen Fuzzy Coat Review

Hi everyone!  Today I have a few of the new Sally Hansen Fuzzy Coat polishes to share with you.  I've been lemming this collection ever since it came out.  I'm usually not a fan of bar glitter, but these are pretty, no?

Tight Knit, 2 coats over SH Mint Sorbet: blue and white bar glitters in a clear base.  I was hoping these would be opaque enough to wear alone, but as you can see, they're better off as glitter toppers.  Formula-wise it was okay, the glitters spread evenly and the consistency was medium-thin.

Wool Lite, 4 coats over SH Parchment: light pink bar glitters in a clear base.  I tried to get this one opaque with 4 coats, but as you can see it is not.  However, the formula is easy to work with.  I think I'll wear this again over a contrasting color.

Tweedy, 2 coats over SH Pacific Blue: black and white bar glitters with a clear base.  I loved this combo!  Well, everything looks good with SH Pacific Blue. :)

Fuzz-Sea, 2 coats over a grey creme: bright blue and yellow bar glitters in a clear base.  This one was purchased by me, since it was the one I wanted the most.  In fact, it was the only color that was sold out every where I went.  I managed to grab the last one at Ulta.  I think it got left behind because it was a little under filled... oh well.

Verdict:  The bar glitters in here are all short, so they're very easy to apply.  However, I don't think they're for everyone.  Some of them can look a little "hairy", so if you're generally not a fan of this look, I would steer clear.  While I was hoping these would be more opaque, I'm still pleased with them as glitter toppers.  I think my favorite is Fuzz-Sea, but I liked Tweedy and Tight Knit as well.

Availability:  You can find Sally Hansen polishes at almost any drugstore.  I purchased mine for $5.99.

Butter London Sunbaker

Hey all!  I'm so excited to show you this new Butter London polish from their Summer Holiday 2013 Collection.  I also had another polish to review called Bit Faker, but unfortunately it came broken. :< I couldn't salvage any of it, since it had already dried out - but from what I could tell, it was gorgeous. LOL.  The prettiest mess I'd ever seen. :P

So who is this beauty?  Meet Sunbaker.  According to Butter London, "this rust orange shimmer is named for a sun slave whose skin had taken an odd and unnatural tone."  Well, Butter London always comes up with some interesting names.  I think rust orange shimmer is pretty spot on though.  This is 2 coats.

Verdict: Isn't it gorgeous?  There are a lot of shimmery oranges, but this one sets itself apart from the others because of its burnt orange base - the others I own are brighter tangerine oranges.  Overall, I really enjoyed this polish and the formula is superb.

Availability: You can find Butter London polishes at butterlondon.com for $15.00 or at an Ulta near you.

Are you a fan of orange shimmers?

Nicole by OPI Gumdrops Collection Review

Hey guys!  Today I have another texture collection to share with you.  These were all taken in direct sunlight. :)

Candy Is Dandy, 3 coats: pinky jelly texture with fine silver glitter and various sized holo glitter.  I've actually worn this three times now - mainly because whenever I swatched it the sun would go away.  I'm usually not into these types of pinks, but I really liked this one.  It's super sparkly, especially because of all the holographic glitter.

Physicians Formula Endless Color Custom Nail Trio Line Review

Hi everyone!  Hope you're all enjoying your weekend. :)  Today I have the entire new Endless Color line from Physicians Formula.  Each trio set comes with three mini polishes that snap together.  The colors themselves don't have individual names, so for my review I'll refer to them by their color and position.

Barielle Elle's Spell + Falling Star Review

Hey all!  Today I have two gorgeous Barielle polishes I've been lemming for some time now. :)

Elle's Spell, 3 coats: red jelly base with red to green flakies.  I love how the flakies add a pretty glow to the red polish.  I think it's also sheer enough that you could layer it over other reds and purples.  No problems with the formula either.

Falling Star, 2 coats: dusty periwinkle base with fine copper glitters.  The glitters are actually square, but you can't tell because they're so small.  Isn't it gorgeous?  I love blue and copper combinations, so this is right up my alley.  The formula was excellent and the polished flowed on in two even coats

Verdict:  I loved wearing both of these polishes!  They were easy to apply and the colors are undeniably beautiful.

Availability:  You can purchase these at The Beauty Clutch for $6.50 each, but they're currently on sale for $5. :)  Be sure to follow The Beauty Clutch on Twitter, Facebook, and Pinterest for more on their current promotions and polishes.

Julep Maven Box: June 2013 Modern Beauty

Hey guys!  I got my June Maven box in the mail today, so here it is.  I got Modern Beauty this month (two full size beauty products) since I wasn't too interested in the polish.  I was actually going to skip, but I was curious about their new DD creme and decided to try out their concealer as well.  There was also some saltwater taffy as a treat (yum). :)

Studded Cross Nail Art

Hi all!  I really wanted to put these three colors together, so here's what I came up with. :)

Julep Teri (melon pink)
Zoya Jacqueline (porcelain)
 OPI OPI...Eurso Euro (cobalt blue)

On my ring finger, I used these 2mm gold studs* from Born Pretty Store to make a small cross.  Doesn't it look great?  The studs are small and flat, so they aren't bulky at all.  I also like how shiny they look even with top coat.

If you're wondering about my middle nail, it's actually very simple.  If you're interested in a tutorial, let me know in the comments!

Overall, I'm really pleased with how this looks!  I'm also kind of in love with the studs, so you'll be seeing those again. :P

If you plan on purchasing the studs, be sure to use this code to get 10% off!  F10X31
