Pretty Jelly Holiday 2012 Collection

Yes, after much um-ing and ah-ing, I've decided to try my hand at polish making.  So, I present to you my Pretty Jelly Holiday 2012 collection: consisting of five holiday/winter inspired glitter top coats.  In case you're wondering about the brand name, I decided to play off my blog name Liquid Jelly.  I originally came up with the name because I thought nail polish looked like liquid jelly.  For my brand, I'm playing off the word 'jelly' and its slang (aka pretty jealous).

Secret Santa Affair

Inspired by Secret Santa gift swaps, this polish also tips its hat to Jimmy Boyd's popular Christmas song "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus."  Swatched over: CG First Mate, OPI Don't Touch My Tutu!, SC Last Chance, Milani Black Swift.

Skate Date

Inspired by the glow and chills of winter dates, Skate Date represents one of winter's most popular date scenes: romance on ice.  Swatched over: OPI Casino Royale,CG Man Hunt, Milani Black Swift, Milani White on the Spot.

Confetti Countdown

Filled with holographic sparkle, this one's for those of us still looking for the "perfect New Years party."  Swatched over: Julep Lily, OPI Casino Royale, Milani Black Swift, Zoya Rekha.

Berry X-mas

With its festive coloring, Berry X-mas is reminiscent of the pretty winter berries frosted in snow and ice.  Swatched over: OPI Don't Touch My Tutu!, Milani Black Swift.

Sugar Cookie

Holiday cookies are the best!  Sugar Cookie was inspired by cute tree and Santa shaped cookies.  The best part is, this cookie is also guilt-free. ;)  Swatched over: Milani White on the Spot (2 coats, 1 coat), Milani Black Swift (2 coats, 1 coat).

This limited edition collection will launch on my Etsy Shop on November 10, 2012 for $8 (15ml) and $4 (6ml).  I don't have a lot of 6ml bottles, so quantities will be very limited.  All polishes are 3 Free (does not contain Formaldehyde , Toluene, or DBP) and cruelty free.  All glitters have also been tested and do not bleed.

If you would like to pre-order any shades, I will start taking pre-orders starting today until November 7.  Just email me at liquidjelly76(at)gmail.com with the colors you would like to purchase, and your paypal address for the invoice.  Pre-ordered items will ship out on the first shipping date, Nov 12.

**Unfortunately, I can only ship to US addresses right now.  If this collection does well, I will definitely look into getting an international shipping license. :)

And since this is my first collection, it would be great if you could take some time to answer the poll below! :)

Which shades interest you the most?

As always, comments are appreciated, but please be nice!  Thank you! :)

  4. Being as I am not a big glitter fan, I am luke warm on these - but do like looking at them on you! I just find when I use glitter I am tried of looking at it that same day and want it off - but then glitter makes my polish last days and days longer than normal - seems a lot of work for often just 1 day. The heart shapes in a Christmas glitter kind of throws me - but then there are no rules after all.
