I have this long list of books that I want to read before I die.  I've always been an avid reader since I was young, and a fan of classics since middle school.  After graduating, I realized I haven't been reading as much, so out came the list.  I thought it'd be fun if I did these little posts on what I'm currently reading, wearing on my nails, etc.  I'll post new ones every time I start a new book. :)

And someone please get these chocolates away from me!

  2. Hope you do get through even half your list of 'to reads.' I always read a lot since back to age 4. I devoured books. Can recall going on amazing driving vacations with my grandparents and they had to keep stopping to buy me a new pile of books. I was the kid lugging home 10 books at a time from the library. Now days I don't read as fast as I once did. I am however thrilled with all the books and libraries across the states that I can get a card with and check out their ebooks despite I don't live in their area or state even! I have a lot of years on you but looking back I think my most prolific reading was in HS and college days. I still recall always being frustrated when I would be in finals needing to study but had always seemed a great book going that I had to peel off hrs to not just devour but finish. It was always this pull and tug for me - hit the school books or my reading book(s)!

  3. That's pretty nice! I like ebooks, but I usually prefer reading from a physical book. I definitely had that same problem of balancing school work and reading. I really enjoyed reading my English class books, so I'd usually put off math homework and read the entire book, instead of the one chapter I was assigned. -_- And since I majored in English, I was always reading in college as well. Hopefully I will read at least half, even if it's an ever growing list! :)

  4. I love reading, but almost never get the chance to, so my to-read list is long too. :-)
Cute mani! That's a beautiful color on you.

  5. I loved Lord of the Flies, it was one of the few books I was required to read in school that I actually liked. I really enjoy the original movie as well :) I always feel for poor piggy to this day lol.

  6. I just finished reading it, and the last few pages were so intense! And poor Piggy. I saw it coming the moment they named him piggy. :<

  7. I used to read a lot during high school and I still always have a book on the go now, but because of the internet, I find I don't read books as often which makes me really sad! I used to read in university while on the bus or waiting for classes to start but now that I'm working, I really don't make the time anymore. FYI, I'm reading "World War Z" right now ;-)

  8. My sister was reading that! She's a big zombie fan. I sort of read it too, because I saw it lying around, but not really cover to cover. I just got curious. :P
