The Tale of Two Nail Looks

Hey all!  I have two nail art looks for you today.  Both are fairly minimalistic.  I was originally going to do a Valentine's Day manicure, but ended up going in a whole new direction.  The result is the look shown below.  It kind of has a tattoo vibe to it because 98% of the designs were done with a needle (needle marbling tutorial here).  Do you like my tattered heart?  I think the sheer beige base I used is perfect for this design because it adds a bit of delicateness.  It reminds me of tattoo tights.

Polishes used:
OPI Barre My Soul (base)
Milani Black Swift (black designs)

This second look was done entirely out of studs.  No nail art skills required!  Don't you think heart studs make the most perfect little bows?  These are from Born Pretty Store (BPS) and they're just as nice as the round studs I reviewed here.  I also used these heart studs in my Rouge Hello Kitty nail art as well.  They are a little big, but they lie relatively flat on my curved nails.

China Glaze Exotic Encounters

If you plan on purchasing any of the studs, don't forget to use code F10X31 for 10% off. ^^  That's all for today!  Come back tomorrow for 2013's first FFAN post!  If you still want to enter, you still have about 2 hours. x)  Submission guidelines (here).

Which look is your favorite?

  6. Aw thank you! Barre My Soul is the perfect sheer nude/beige. I pretty much love every color that came out in that collection (NYC Ballet). :)
