People Magazine: World's Most Beautiful VIP Box
Hi everyone! I hope you're all enjoying the weekend. :) I recently got this VIP gift box from People Magazine as a Klout perk. It was really well put together, and I'm enjoying a lot of the stuff in it, so I thought I'd share them with you.
Here's what was in the box: Hungry Girl recipe cards, detangler brush, Zoya nail polish, blue bracelet, and 3 makeup pouches. I was happy to see the detangler brush and use it every day now. I was actually going to buy it before, but ended up buying the 2.5" version of this brush instead (which is pretty awesome too).
This Klout perk also came with three free issues to People magazine. So far I got two, and they're fun to flip through during my spare time. I don't usually read entertainment magazines, because I prefer the more beauty/fashion centric ones.
A closer look at the Hungry Girl recipe cards. I've looked through her cookbooks before, but I haven't tried any of her recipes yet. Some of her recipes use processed foods as short cuts or ingredients I generally avoid, so I've always put them back. Maybe I'll find something I like from these. :)
I must have a million makeup bags, but I'm always excited to get more. These came in three sizes, and I love that they're short and wide. Both my Lorac Pro and Naked 3 palette fits snugly into the medium and large pouches. It's great, because I'm always worried the Lorac palette will open in my bag.
The largest pouch also fits this beautiful palette I bought from Book of Shadows on Etsy. It's a magnetic makeup palette similar to those Z palettes. When I got it, I was really surprised by the quality. It's sturdy and really well designed. I read all the good reviews, but I was still blown away. If you're looking for a nice magnetic palette, I highly recommend these. The range of designs is pretty extensive as well.
I'm currently filling mine with indie eye shadows - my current obsession. I still need to press a lot of my shadows, so I'll show you the contents another time. :)
You're probably most curious about which Zoya was in the box. It's Rue from the Naturel collection! I already swatched Rue in the past, so here's a pic of it on the nail:
Since I already own Rue...I'm giving away the new bottle to one lucky reader! Aren't you glad you read this post now? :P
The giveaway is open to both US and international readers. There are no requirements for this giveaway. Just click enter in the Rafflecopter widget below - that's it! Don't forget to read the terms and conditions. Good luck! ♥
