[Review+Swatch] Sinful Colors Sage Rose
Hi guys! Quick post today featuring this pretty shade by Sinful Colors. I got this in my last Influenster box and was excited to try it out. It's a little darker and warmer than the swatch in real life. I think my light box really brought out the metallic silver sheen. This is two easy coats.
I haven't bought a new SC in quite a while. I used to haul them like crazy during the $1 Walgreens sales. What are your favorite colors from them? :)

[NOTD] China Glaze: Be Merry, Be Bright + Elfin' Around
Hey all! Today I'm wearing this pretty coral-red from China Glaze's Holiglaze collection (Holiday 2013). I love warm reds like this, and the metallic finish gives it an extra oomph in the shine department. This is one smooth coat without top coat.
I topped it with a coat of ChG Be Merry, Be Bright for some added sparkle. Be Merry, Be Bright is filled with multi-sized red and purple glitters. It's hard to see on Elfin' Around, but I liked how the cooler red glitters in BMBB added some depth to the warmer base.
What's on your nails today? Let me know in the comments below! :)

Color Club Girl About Town: Wicker Park + Pearl District Duo Review
Hi guys! Today I have two of the color from Color Club Fall 2013 collection: Girl About Town. :)
Wicker Park, 3 coats: warm lavender creme. It's much warmer and more pink than the Color Club website shows, so I wouldn't say it's a pure lavender. The formula was excellent and applied flawlessly. The consistency of the polish was good as well. It's a lovely color, but does tend to make my fingers look darker. This reminds me of Bondi Botanical Beauty, but they're not at all alike. Wicker Park is darker and more purple in comparison.
Pearl District, 2 coats: gold-olive metallic. It's has very strong gold tones in it, but the olive in it is still apparent as well. This applied in two easy coats and was surprisingly pigmented. Perfect for fall!
Verdict: Both polishes played well and were opaque in 2-3 coats. My favorite out of the two is Pearl District.
Availability: You can purchase this particular duo at shopcolorclub.com (here) for $12. You can also buy all of the Girl About Town colors (here) for $8 each.
See any favorites? Let me know in the comments! :)

Zoya Fall 2013: Satins Collection
Today I'm showing you the final fall collection from Zoya - the Satins Collection! Satins is the metallic half of the two collections and is filled with glowing jewel tones.
Channing, 2 coats: rust red copper metallic with very fine gold shimmer. All of the polishes in this collection were a bit thicker than what I prefer. Aside from that, they still applied relatively well. Because the formula is thicker, longer dry time between coats is recommended. Some were better than others, and Channing was on the better performing side.
Mason, 2 coats: red-violet metallic. I love how glowy this looks because of the violet shimmer in the red-purple base. There are also some red fleck-like shimmers that give this color dimension. However, I did find mine thicker than the others and slower drying.
Claudine, 2 coats: meteorite grey metallic. It's a dark grey that doesn't come across as black. Again, the formula is on the thicker side, but Claudine applied very well.
Neve, 2 coats: sapphire blue metallic. I had no problems with the formula as it applied very smoothly.
Giovanna, 2 coats: lush emerald green metallic. Hands down my favorite from not only this collection, but the Cashmeres collection combined. The moment I saw this, I knew I would like it - and I was right. It's a beautiful shade of emerald green. I love how glowy this looks and it's bound to attract everyone's attention while you're wearing it. This did, however, stain my nails a little bit near the cuticles, so beware.
Maria Luisa, 1 coat: sparkling cellophane gold topper. Maria Luisa has a clear base filled with thin metallic, gold flakes. I'm wearing one coat on my tips over Mason (above) and one full coat over Channing (below). This is great if you want to add some subtle sparkle to your manis.
Verdict: While the colors in this collection were all opaque in two coats, I did find the formula a little too thick. Some of the polishes even got a bit gloopy around the neck of the bottle, so I plan on adding a few drops of thinner to mine. It still applies well, but it could be better. I recommend longer drying times between each coat.
Availability: This collection is currently available at Zoya.com. Each polish retails for $8. You can also find Zoya polishes in stores at Ulta.
Whew - that's all of Zoya's collections for Fall 2013! Which collection is your favorite (Cashmeres, Satins, or Pixie Dust)? Let me know in the comments below. :)

Book: Catch-22 - Joseph Heller
Nails: Skinfood BR610 Rich Mocha
Show: How I Met Your Mother Season 8 (finally caught up!)
Quick post today! I started Catch-22 last weekend, but haven't gotten very far. Hopefully, I'll be able to finish it over the weekend. On my nails I'm wearing Rich Mocha, which is like a metallic brown/bronze. Isn't it pretty? It kind of matches the book... :P
Until tomorrow!

Revlon Carbonite
Carbonite is a grey-silver metallic with subtle gold shimmer flecks that give it a bit of warmth. It has a tarnished quality to it that I love. There was a lot of talk about this color because of its likeness to Chanel Graphite. From the comparison shots I've seen, Graphite has a bit more sparkle and warmth, but I'm content enough with Carbonite not to splurge on the Chanel.
What are your thoughts on Carbonite? Are you a fan of drugstore dupes?

Butter London Wallis
Wallis, 2 coats: antique metallic olive gold. First off, I love olive gold polishes. I think they're great for fall, and they're one of my favorite colors to wear. Wallis particularly got a lot of press last fall when they first came out, and I can see why. I remember picking this up every time I went to Ulta and putting it back down. I'm kind of glad now, since I was able to get it for way less than $14. The formula is amazing and the coverage is great as well. No complaints! :)
In case you're wondering about this polish's namesake, it's named after Wallis Simpson - an American socialite who created quite a stir in the UK. She was married thrice, and her third husband was King Edward VIII, who actually abdicated his throne to marry her. They were both suspected to be Nazi sympathizers during World War II, and there's even a picture of her being greeted by Adolph Hitler. Not much is known about her life after the Duke of Windsor's death (King Edward VIII's title after the abdication), so she remains as a mysterious and controversial figure in British history.
What do you think of Wallis? Do you own this polish? Let me know in the comments! Oh and if you're a fan of olive gold polishes, check out my other budget friendly favorite here.

Zoya Diva Collection for Fall 2012
Hello! I was originally going to split this collection into two posts, but I decided swatch and edit everything today! So here are my swatches for the whole collection. :) (P.S. This is a picture heavy post).
Elisa, 2 coats: a classic red with slightly brighter shimmer. Elisa had great pigmentation and flowed onto the nail easily. It's not very unique, but it's pretty nonetheless. I love the two-coat formula. :)

Nicole by OPI 2012 Fall Shades: Shimmers and Metallics
Hi everyone! Hope you're all enjoying your Sunday. :) Today I have the rest of the shades from Nicole by OPI's Target exclusive fall line.
If the Blue Fits..., 2 coats: rich blue shimmer with scattered red sparkles. The polish flowed on well, and had good pigmentation. I love how the red shimmer kind of pops out against the blue, especially in the sun. This picture doesn't do it justice. There's also some subtle duochrome action going on.. At an angle, the red will shift green. (The red tends to look more purple in the shade.)
For Gold Times Sake, 3 coats: cool olive-grey metallic flecks with blue and yellow shimmer. There's also an apparent shift from gold to red. So pretty! I'm a sucker for olive toned metallic shades to begin with, so this one was an undeniable winner for me. I would also say it shows the most duochrome of these three. I don't remember having any problems with the formula.
Just Busta Mauve, 3 coats: a mauve-brown metallic flecks with red and blue shimmer. I think it's the red shimmer that shifts orange at an angle. Sorry about the state of my tips! I found the formula a bit thicker for this one, so my tips wouldn't cover when I noticed them on the last coat. >_<
Verdict: I found these three the most surprising and unique from this fall collection. The promo pictures were a far cry from how these looked in real life. I was delighted to see that all of the shades had some degree of color shift. My favorite of these three was For Gold Times Sake. Overall, I'm pretty impressed with the collection as a whole.

| You can see the shift better in the bottle. |
The duochrome was hard to capture, but you can see the red to green shift better here.
