Hey all! Take a look at this gorgeous polish I have to share with you today. :)
Blue Lightening is part of Milani's new limited edition collection called MEWOW Look at My Nails. Another one from the bf. :P All the colors in this collection actually look nice, but Blue Lightening stood out to me because of its duochrome. It reminds me of a blue version of another fantastic polish by Milani, Totally Cool. In case you're wondering what the other polishes in this collection are, here's a pic. :)

Blue Lightening can be best described as a dark evening blue jelly with violet/pink duochrome shimmer. There is so much depth to this polish! It is truly gorgeous. I had a hard time capturing the duochrome on camera, so you'll just have to trust me; it's a lot more apparent in real life. The formula for Blue Lightening is a bit thick and reaches opacity in 2 coats. I'm wearing 3 for pics.
As for the High Speed Fast Dry claim...I would actually say it dries slower because of how it applies thickly. Granted, I did use an extra unnecessary coat, but I still wouldn't say it dries fast. It also says it's a one coat formula, which I guess is possible if you lay it thick since it is super pigmented. However, I would recommend using two thinner coats.
A great thing about this color, however, is that it doesn't stain! I thought it would be a real stainer, but it did not stain my nails at all when used with base coat. I use China Glaze's Strong Adhesion Base Coat. I didn't apply it to bare nails, so I'm not sure if it will stain without base coat.
Overall, I highly recommend picking this color up, especially if you're a blue lover. Don't think twice! :P
