Hey guys! Have you seen the new Sinful Colors Heartbreaker collection around? I've been googling the collection as well as the shades I picked up, but none could be found. :( There are repromotes in this collection, but I
think the ones I picked up are new. I'm not sure, so if you know, tell me! :)

**edit: Cinderella is not part of the Heartbreaker collection, although mine was found in that display. I only found one though and couldn't find any more in either the main display or in a separate display.
From left to right: Bare, Tutu, Cinderella.
Cinderella, 4 coats. Cinderella is a pale milky blue reminiscent of Disney Cinderella's ball gown. It takes 4 coats to make it opaque, but it is sooooo worth it. There are these beautiful pink glass flecks that turn gold at an angle. The pink is pretty prominent too. I guess you could layer this over a light blue, but I wanted to keep the soft, milky look it has. Right now I'm not very happy with these pics. They really do not do this polish any justice. The shimmer is definitely more pink and the blue is lighter. It was overcast today when I took these, so I will be reswatching this when it's sunny.
I've never seen Sinful Colors do a pale blue, so this color stuck out like a sore thumb (in a good way.) It literally called me over and made me buy it. I think it's pretty unique as well. The only potential dupe I can think of is Revlon Blue Lagoon. But they are definitely not dupes, since Blue Lagoon has clear flecks while Cinderella has pink/gold flecks. Overall, I really
love this color! It's super gorgeous and I really hope SC puts out more colors like this.
What do you think? Have you seen this color around? I really haven't seen much news on this collection...

I saw (and bought) Cinderella today, but not Tutu or Bare! This is the first swatch I've seen & wow is it gorgeous!

ReplyDeleteSo disappointed, I went to Walgreens today and they did not have Cinderella. They had the whole heartbreaker display though but since they didn't have Cinderella, I didn't pick up anything.

ReplyDeleteThe display was full. All typical Valentine colors. I asked the SA about Cinderella and she said she didn't know anything. *fingers crossed* that it will be apart of core line.

ReplyDeleteI just did a post on finding the Heartbreaker display at my Walgreens, but there was no Cinderella in it! I'd really love that color! The entire display was filled up with other polishes though, and I can't get onto the SC website because they're down for maintenance to see if Cinderella is actually part of the collection. Hmmm hmm hmmm...
ReplyDeleteAhhh it seems Cinderella isn't a part of that display then. Weird...because I only found one in my store and it was in the Heartbreaker display. I just assumed SC was being creative by sticking a blue in. I did look around to see if there were any more and there wasn't another display for it or a spot in the main display. I tried contacting someone who might know for some more info on Cinderella, so I will post an update when I get a response. ^^

ReplyDeleteEllie~ I WAS N THE HUT FOR THE SOHO NY BEAUTY SPONGE AND SPOTED CINDERELLA & BARE I HAD TO ADD THEM ;) N My collection especially cus i had no baby blue....ooohhhh and i totally recomend BARE to tan skin :) I did My self a maní w/ bare yesterday and it looks fabulous =)
ReplyDeleteEllie~ so after I pick up my polishes I realized that the only new shades n the heartbreaker display was BARE & TUTU idk about Cinderella, it might have come out n onother way back previous collection cus I have seen Cinderella nail polish n an old video from makeupjunkie18 I think ?
ReplyDeleteI went in to my Walgreen's today and found it in the Heartbreaker display, which had totally different polishes in it a week ago. It was there along with one called Kissy (which is another OPI Catch Me in Your Net dupe). Cinderella is beautiful, can't wait to wear it! The pink shimmer in the milky blue makes me think of a baby's room. My bottle also wasn't the only one in the display, there were probably 3 or 4 other Cinderellas.

What a huge hit this one has made. Who would have thought that a light blue would put Sinful Colors on the map for so many who never would have bought this brand because it's often watery - does not cover - and well, sort of typical of the $1.99 polishes out there.
