OPI Nicki Minaj Collection Swatches Part 2

Metallic 4 Life, 3 coats.  This one's gorgeous.  It has a charcoal jelly base that's sheer enough to let all the glitter through but pigmented enough to be opaque in three thin coats.  There are three different types of silver glitter in here that add depth and sparkle to the shade: tiny squares, small hexgons, and medium hexagons.  This is my favorite from the collection and in my opinion, the standout shade.  It's glam without trying too hard and would look great with an LBD.

Super Bass, shatter, layered over Metallic 4 Life.  Super Bass is shimmery purple shatter that can look magenta or dark purple depending on the base.  This is my favorite shatter to date.  I'm as tired of shatter as the next nail blogger, but this one deserves a second look.  The color is so gorgeous!  I really wish OPI would make this a solid color.  The formula was like any other OPI shatter and it dries matte.  I'm wearing top coat over it in my pictures.  It doesn't seem to shatter as well over chunky glitter, so I might try this over a chunky silver glitter to bring out the color.  I probably won't do this combo again with Metallic 4 Life, because I can't justify covering up the prettiness. :P

Overall, it's a great collection.  I didn't review Pink Friday or Did It On 'Em, because I'm not a fan of those colors.  But from the ones I reviewed, there wasn't a single disappointing shade and the formula was great for all of them.  If I had to pick only one from the collection, however, I'd go with Metallic 4 Life.
