[Review+Swatch] Zoya Naturel Deux Collection
Hey guys! It looks like we're already getting into fall collections. But what if you're not in the mood for dark, rich colors yet? Then you might want to look into Zoya's newest collection: Naturel Deux. Complementing the original Naturel collection, this set features a range of browns and plums to help you seamlessly transition into fall.
I found the formula for this collection to be consistent across the board: smooth, creamy formula with great coverage. It applies similarly to previous cremes by Zoya and is medium-thick in consistency. If you like how Zoya's cremes apply, these won't disappoint. Swatches are shown with top coat.
Spencer, 2 coats: camel creme. Not sure it looks amazing on me on camera, but I really like this color. It's very flattering and slightly darker than my skin tone. I can see it working well across many skin tones ranging from light to dark.
Chanelle, 2 coats: toasted almond creme. It's a warm, medium brown shade that should also flatter many skin tones.
Emilia, 2 coats: dark chocolate creme. On the cooler end of the spectrum is this darker brown. It still has a softness to it that makes it very wearable even in the summer. My ring finger looks like it could have used a third coat though.
Madeline, 2 coats: muted rose creme. If you're tired of wearing nudes and tan to work, this would be a nice alternative color. It's not flashy but adds a bit more color to your nails.
Aubrey, 2 coats: medium mauve creme. All the other colors in this collection has a very soft/dusty vibe to them. This is one feels a bit more "vibrant" in comparison.
Marney, 2 coats: deep, warm plum creme. It's darker than Aubrey, but has a dusty quality to it that makes it look more muted.
Verdict: If you like the original Naturel collection, I think you'll enjoy these deeper selections for early fall. All of these were opaque in two medium coats, and applied easily without any issues. Top them off with a nice top coat like Seche Vite for a beautiful, glossy look.
Availability: This collection is now available at Zoya.com for $9 each. You can also find Zoya polishes in stores at Ulta.
