[Review + Swatch] Zoya Magical Pixie - Summer 2014
Hi guys! I'm excited to share Zoya's newest Magical Pixie collection with you today. These textures are just like the ones released in spring, but with much better formulas this time. It's still a chunky texture, but the formula was perfect. Not all thick and goopy like the spring collection, but thin and easy to use.

[Nail Art] Mani Swap with Vaniliamamor
Hi everyone! I recently did a mani swap with the lovely Bella of Vaniliamamor. This was actually my first time doing a mani swap! I was drawn to this mani Bella did inspired by Zachary Brown's painting: "Lilli’s Poppies". This is my version of it. :)
Polishes Used
OPI Coca-Cola Red
Milani White On The Spot
Zoya Suri
Barielle First Class Ticket
Sinful Colors black striping polish
I think I could have done a better job with the ring finger, but overall I love how this turned out. Who knew mani swaps could be so much fun? Apparently everyone but me. -.- *makes mental note to do more*
If you'd like to see which mani of mine Bella recreated, visit her blog here! Thank you, Bella for doing this with me! ^^
Until next time,
♥ Liz

[Pretty Jelly x Sticky Nails Collaboration] Maleficient Inspired Polish + Stencil Sets
Hi everyone! Hope you're all enjoying your Memorial Day weekend! I have some more exciting news from Pretty Jelly, so I wanted to share them with you.
I've been working behind-the-scenes with another Iona of Sticky Nails to create Maleficient inspired polish and stencil sets. You can see the stencils below, but they're super detailed and easy to work with. Iona was so wonderful to work with and so amazingly talented! I'm really excited to finally reveal these sets to you.
We created these sets to pay homage to the upcoming release of Maleficient. One of the sets is inspired by Maleficient, while the other is inspired by Princess Aurora. We named the sets after the Once Upon A Dream song, and the dark new rendition by Lana Del Rey.
The following images are courtesy of Sticky Nails.
The I Know You set comes with a blackened green linear holo and a sheet of stencils featuring iconic images of Maleficient like her headdress, crow, and dragon transformation. This set will be sold exclusively at Sticky Nails Etsy store.
This one's Once Upon A Dream on my nails. It's a light blue linear holo with pink sparkles reminiscent of Aurora's dress. This set also includes a sheet of whimsical stencils with images like forest animals, flowers, crowns, and dresses. Once Upon A Dream is available exclusively at the Pretty Jelly Etsy store.
Both sets will be released in our respective Etsy stores tomorrow, Monday 5/26. Each set will retail for $18 each and ships internationally. They're limited edition, so grab yours before we run out!

[OOTD & NOTD] Something Blue ♥
Press Sample Affiliate Link
I've always wanted to do a 'How I Wore It' type of post with my nails, so here's my first go at it. It's a little different, but I hope you like it. :)
First, the nails! I wanted something light like white without the starkness, so I ended up using an off white. This is 3 coats of Nicole by OPI Sweet Surrender*, which is a pretty blush-toned cream. It's almost white but with a hint of pink, which makes it a more flattering alternative on me.

[NOTD] Pretty In Pink with BPS Pearls
Hi guys! I've itching to do nail art, but haven't had much time to sit down and do it. So I settled on a easy mani using pearls, rhinestones, and glitter. It's understated, but doesn't leave my nails feeling too plain. :)
For this look, I started out with 4 coats of Nicole by OPI I'll Have The Salmon. It's a pretty peachy-pink with fine silver shimmer. It's sheer, and applies a little unevenly. However, it does dry quickly so 4 coats didn't take too long. It does look okay at 3 coats, but I prefer it at 4.
The glitter topper is Milani Sugar Burst, which I love! It's filled with multi-shaped matte pink glitter and small holo glitters. I didn't want too much on my nail, so I used about half a coat to a nail.
For my accent nail, I used a silver rhinestone from a wheel I bought on Ebay. The tiny, 1.5mm pearls are from Born Pretty Store. Aren't they cute? The quality is very nice, as is the finish. I have other half pearls (also from Ebay), but they look much more fake. The BPS ones have a subtle satin sheen to them that makes them look a million times nicer. You can find them here for $2.99 a wheel. If you buy these, don't forget to use my code F10X31 to receive 10% off your entire order. :)
That's it for today! I'll be back with more nail art soon. ^^
♥ Liz
