My first Rescue Beauty Lounge purchase! I don't know why but when I get these high end brands, I'm always surprised by how tiny the bottles are. I think it's cause I'm used to seeing macro shots of them online. Does this happen to anyone else?

★ Style Post 001
Hey everyone! I've been a little under the weather, so here's a post I threw together that required little editing. :P (Editing pics takes the most out of me.) I had fun doing this, so let me know if you like posts like this. I'll try to do them when I have stuff to share. :)
Here are a few of my most recent purchases related to beauty and fashion, as well as some products I love and am trying out. I listed each product shown below and their retail prices, which are not necessarily what I paid. If I paid something other than the retail price, I mentioned it where I talked about each item individually.

China Glaze Capitol Colours Preview & Bottle Pics
Here's a little collage I made with the bottle pics. :)
From top left corner, clockwise in format -> District number, official name ( district specialty)
1 Luxe and Lush (luxury); 2 Stone Cold (masonry); 3 Riveting (technology); 4 Hook and Line (fishing); 5 Electrify (power); 6 Fast Track (transportation; 7 Mahogany Magic (lumber); 8 Dress Me Up (textiles); 9 Harvest Moon (grain); 10 Foie Gras (livestock); 11 Agro (agriculture; 12 Smoke and Ashes (mining)
I'm a fan of the Hunger Games series, so I'm pretty excited for both this collection and the movie. The first book was my favorite, so I can't wait. So far I have my eyes on Luxe and Lush, Riveting, Electrify, and Harvest Moon. My only disappointment with this collection is that not all the names really match up with the color. Take Hook and Line (fishing), you would think it would be some sort of blue? Well the reason for this is that the original names and colors were prematurely leaked. Those names actually make sense to those who read the book. :( I think I'll re label my bottles when I get mine. :P In case you're wondering, here's the leaked version.

Vday Nail Art: SinfulColors Tutu & Quilted Hearts
Happy belated Valentine's Day! I hope everyone had a good one. I was going to post this mani yesterday, but unfortunately I got sick after class and had to spend the rest of it in bed. The nice thing was when I woke up, there were Valentine's gifts on my bed. :)
Oh and thank you to everyone who left some feedback on my last post! I guess I can't please every monitor, but I'll try to strike a happy medium. At least I'm going easy on the saturation button now. Hopefully this way, my pictures will be accurate on more computers. ^^
Now on to the pictures!

Help!
I need your opinion! I usually edit my pictures on my laptop, but it literally wheezes and is about to die. So these past two days, I've been using the school computer to edit my pictures. When I went to my blog to look over old pictures, I pretty much did some major face palming. My pictures looked a little over saturated, making my hands look really red or yellow. :( I was pretty horrified and was wondering if this is what my readers have been seeing all this time. The thing is, when I checked my blog from my boyfriend's computer, my pictures looked alright. So I'm really curious to know what my readers are seeing. When I edited the pictures from the school computer, they looked a bit blue-toned on my computer, so basically I'm wondering if I should go back and re edit them.
So here's my recent swatch of Bare edited from the school computer. This picture looks a bit too cool-toned to me.
Here's the same picture re-edited from my computer. It now looks more accurate to me, but does it look too saturated to you? I don't know what is up with these wonky monitor settings. Please let me know which one looks better/ more natural to you.
Thank you!

SinfulColors Bare
SinfulColors Bare, 2 coats, Heartbreaker collection. Bare is a lovely rose nude. Depending on the lighting it can lean more tan-pink or brown. It has very fine white shimmer that gives the color a soft glow in the sunlight. It doesn't scream shimmer, but just softens the color. I love how this looks on me and can see this color working well with any skin tone.
This last one was taken in the shade, while the previous two were taken in direct sunlight. You can see how the shimmer isn't too prevalent, giving the color a soft shine.
What do you think? :)
