China Glaze Trendsetter
Look what I found! These swatches are from over a year ago. I guess I forgot to post them. This is Trendsetter from last year's Fall 2011 Metro collection. Trendsetter is a green leaning mustard yellow with gold shimmer. It's an unusual color, one I've affectionately nicknamed...er...baby poop. It's definitely one of those hate it or love it colors. I personally think it's a great color for fall. It looks perfect against brown leather. :P
Do you own Trendsetter? Love it or hate it? Let me know in the comments! :)

This is the ultimate ugly-pretty colour! I love it, but I don't think I could pull it off - it wouldn't look so hot on my skintone. It looks amazing on you, I'm jealous! :)
ReplyDeleteI just got this in September after falling in love with OPI Don't Talk Bach To Me, I was obsessed with "ugly" shades. I did a gradient with DTBTM, Trendsetter, and CG Zombie Zest and I got SO MANY compliments on it! I love shades like these!
ReplyDeleteThis fall I got a whole new appreciation for this ChG fall 2011 collection of the ones I purchased. I did not pick up this one however and now I kind of wish I had - I bought the ugly one from the OPI fall 2011 collection - the something about ut-oh roll down the window thing...this one is much better - it's got the glass fleck going on for it. Looks great on you - maybe not so much on me if I had picked it up.
ReplyDeleteI agree! This is the ultimate ugly-pretty color! x)
ReplyDeleteFor some reason, I couldn't pull off DTBTM and I actually think Zombie Zest is pretty. Haha x) A gradient mani of all three sounds amazing though! I should try it out sometime. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks! :)
ReplyDeleteOk, this has to be the most unusual shade I've seen. It really looks like baby poop, lol! But I think I could pull it out.
ReplyDeletethis one is on and off the wishlist for a while now, still not sure what to think of this one, happy holidays!
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't recommend it unless you know you will love it. For me, even though I like it, I tend to only wear it specifically in the fall. Hope you're enjoying the holidays too! :)
