Elisa, 2 coats: a classic red with slightly brighter shimmer. Elisa had great pigmentation and flowed onto the nail easily. It's not very unique, but it's pretty nonetheless. I love the two-coat formula. :)
***
Suri, 2 coats: a grape metallic polish with subtle red and blue shimmer. Suri had the same great 2 coat formula as Elisa.
***
Song, 2 coats: blue metallic with brighter blue shimmer. I think the shimmer looks cerulean. I'm glad this is not another dark blue polish. It's still not the most unique metallic blue, but the shimmer does add a nice touch. Like the others, Song had a great 2 coat formula as well.
***
Ray, 2 coats: a blackened metallic pine green. This was my favorite of the four metallic shades (the ones shown above). It's lovely and dark, but doesn't enter into black territory. I like that it's cool toned, and the formula was, of course, flawless. I do want to draw attention to the brush strokes though. My pictures make them look really apparent, but I didn't even notice them in real life. I also did kind of rush through this particular swatch, so I wouldn't let that deter you from purchasing this shade.

Feifei, 3 coats: a light steel blue metallic with an array of chunky shimmer flecks in blue, red, yellow/gold, silver, purple, and fuchsia. It's gorgeous and oh so unique. This (and the next shade) are different from the previous four shades in that they are made with Zoya's signature shimmer flecks. I actually fell for Zoya because of this finish, so I'm always happy to see new sparkly shades like this. It's also a multichrome that shifts gold, blue, purple. Check out the last shade pic to see what I mean! :) In terms of the formula, it does apply a bit thicker, so be sure give it plenty of dry time.

Daul, 3 coats: violet purple with chunky gold shimmer flecks. One word: sparkly! It's so sparkly. It has the most sparkle out of all the shades in this collection. And I mean blindingly gold I-think-the-sun-just-set-my-nails-on-fire type of sparkle. I could go on and on, but I think you get the idea. It's similar to Zoya Faye, but it's cool-toned and more purple. (See below for comparison.)

Verdict: I thought all the shades were great. The more straight up metallic shades (first four) were all opaque in two coats and applied beautifully. Feifei is a slow dryer, but nothing could deter me from wearing that color. It's definitely my favorite out from all of Zoya's fall offerings. Overall, Diva is another solid collection from Zoya.
Availability: Currently available at Zoya.com and at Ulta for $8 each.
Do you own any shades from this collection? Which one's your favorite?

Nice swatches! I just ordered Daul and FeiFei.
ReplyDeleteLovely swatches :) Suri is stunning
ReplyDeleteI only ended up getting FeiFei because it seemed the most unique.
ReplyDeleteFeiFei and maybe Song will be in my next Zoya order - have not picked up any Zoya for some time but I need to get a new bottle of my all time fav Kimmy from Zoya's Sunshine (summer 2011) collection. Just looking at it again along with Riva of same collection and see a lot of the same shade in them as in the two new OPI DS shades but more gold in Sunshine polishes. I never get the info on all the good deals Zoya puts on 'cause I don't follow FB...I really wish Zoya would do email broadcasts when they have their specials on.
ReplyDeleteThanks! They're both gorgeous, so I think you'll like them! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you! ^^
ReplyDeleteGood choice! Feifei is definitely the star of this collection. :)
ReplyDeleteActually Zoya does send out their sales via email! That's how I knew about the BOGO deal they recently had. Do you have an account on Zoya.com? If you do, I believe they email you on deals and you'll automatically receive the deal code in your account. Making an account is the best, since some deals are exclusive to account holders. But you can also follow them on http://zoyanailpolish.blogspot.com/. :)
