Butter London Wallis
Wallis, 2 coats: antique metallic olive gold. First off, I love olive gold polishes. I think they're great for fall, and they're one of my favorite colors to wear. Wallis particularly got a lot of press last fall when they first came out, and I can see why. I remember picking this up every time I went to Ulta and putting it back down. I'm kind of glad now, since I was able to get it for way less than $14. The formula is amazing and the coverage is great as well. No complaints! :)
In case you're wondering about this polish's namesake, it's named after Wallis Simpson - an American socialite who created quite a stir in the UK. She was married thrice, and her third husband was King Edward VIII, who actually abdicated his throne to marry her. They were both suspected to be Nazi sympathizers during World War II, and there's even a picture of her being greeted by Adolph Hitler. Not much is known about her life after the Duke of Windsor's death (King Edward VIII's title after the abdication), so she remains as a mysterious and controversial figure in British history.
What do you think of Wallis? Do you own this polish? Let me know in the comments! Oh and if you're a fan of olive gold polishes, check out my other budget friendly favorite here.
