Today I have Sephora by OPI's Caught With My Khakis Down.
4 coats. It was opaque in 3, but I had a bit of trouble with the formula in terms of it not covering the nail evenly. After I finished, I added some polish thinner to it.. I've had this problem with Hell to the No, which is a creme as well. I'm not sure if it's my technique (I usually do thin coats) or if I just got a bad one each time. I've added polish thinner to Hell to the No and it applies like butter now, so I'm guessing it'll help CWMKD too.
The color? Gorgeous in my opinion. It's a grey khaki and can lean more towards grey or green depending on the lighting. This is definitely the star of the Safari Luxe collection, so I suggest you grab it if you like these colors since it's a limited edition shade. I think it's similar to Essie Sew Psyched, although I can't do a comparison because I don't own it.
A few more pics. I don't have too many because I didn't like how they came out. The color is pretty true to real life though. I think I'll reswatch this one some time since I have a fun combination in mind.

Likey Like! Very similar to my fav grey, Rimmel's Grey Matter!
ReplyDeleteI almost bought the colour the other day because my friends wears it and it looks really nice. You have a wonderful blog by the way, I will be checking back to read more of your posts. I wish all the luck in the world with it (although I am sure you do not need it).
ReplyDeleteAll the best,
Voe.

What a pretty grey. It has just enough green in it to make me (almost) want it!
