Happy Saturday!
Today I leave you with a no-skills-involved nail art mani. If you invest in some striping tapes and rhinestones, you can do some easy mistake-proof nail art. The hearts aren't exactly rhinestones... I'm not sure what they're called actually. Glitter maybe? I bought mine from Ebay, and it came in a wheel with other hearts and stars. The base is what you saw yesterday (RBL Aqua Lily) and the glitter is Milani Jewel Fx in Gold.
Hope you're all enjoying the weekend! :)

I loooove this! Omg! Where can I find those stripes? :)
ReplyDeleteIf you have time, I'd love to know your opinion about my fashion blog. It's all about my style and preferences! :)xoxoLuzia M.
It's very pretty and elegant, well done!
ReplyDeleteI love how cute and simple the design is. Did the hearts stay on long?
ReplyDeleteI have not had good luck with stipping tape. It always seems to loosen up on the edges on me even if I use mondo amount of clear topper over it. Looks cute here. So envous that you own Aqua Lilly. Hopefully that will be a shade they release on one of their re-release promos. I get something like it with a China Glaze polish in similar shade then I mix in some Revlon Grapefruit Fizz from their summer 2011 scented micro shimmers. But would still rather have AL of course!
ReplyDeleteHi Luzia! I got mine from Ebay for pretty cheap. A few dollars I think for a set of 10 differently colored stripes. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you! :)
ReplyDeleteI actually couldn't resist picking them off. Haha. -_- I also didn't go over the hearts again with top coat, since I was planning on taking it off that night. So I'm not sure how they would hold up. It does lie pretty flat on the nail. Top should keep it on, unless you're a picker. :P
ReplyDeleteI generally don't have too much trouble with stripping tape. But you do have to make sure the edges are all down, and that they are not protruding out onto your finger. If I cut them right and seal all the edges with top coat, they stay on. For this look, one of the stripes came off (the one on my ring nail) since I didn't cut it close to the nail.
ReplyDeleteAnd Ji is bringing Aqua Lily back in October/November! Definitely keep your eyes peeled for the release date! :)
Such a cute mani, and one I could have a go at, thank you :)
